The University of Malaga (UMA) reserves the right to update, modify or delete the information contained in eventos.uma.es and may limit or deny access to this information. In particular, UMA reserves the right to remove, limit or prevent access to its website when technical difficulties arise due to events or circumstances beyond UMA's control which, in its opinion, reduce or cancel the security levels adopted for the proper functioning of the website.

The purpose of the collection and automated processing of personal data is the management, administration, provision, extension and improvement of the services in which the user decides to register, as well as the sending by traditional and electronic means of technical and operational information on the services offered by eventos.uma.es.

UMA has adopted the legally required levels of security for the protection of personal data, and endeavours to install those additional technical means and measures within its reach to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access and theft of personal data provided to eventos.uma.es. However, the user must be aware that Internet security measures are not impregnable.

Users have recognised rights and may exercise their rights of access, cancellation, rectification and opposition, as well as to be informed of transfers made by contacting eventos.uma.es via the form resulting from clicking on the "contact" button in the "About us" section at the foot of the eventos.uma.es page.
