Mercedes Valmisa (Martes, 16 de diciembre) 
Profesora de Filosofía en la Universidad de Gettysburg. En 2017 obtuvo el doctorado en Sinología por la Universidad de Princeton, donde recibió el Laurence Rockefeller Graduate Prize Fellowship del Centro Universitario de los Valores Humanos. Actualmente es presidenta de la Association of Chinese Philosophers in America (ACPA) y forma parte de la junta directiva de la European Association for Chinese Philosophy (EACP). Su principales líneas de investigación son las intersecciones entre metafísica, filosofía social y ética, con especial atención a problemas vinculados con la acción en agentes humanos y no humanos, la autonomía, la incertidumbre y la libertad.

Professor of Philosophy at Gettysburg College, she received her Ph.D. in Sinology from Princeton University in 2017, where she was awarded the Laurence Rockefeller Graduate Prize Fellowship at the University Center for Human Values. She currently serves as President of the Association of Chinese Philosophers in America (ACPA) and as a member of the Board of Directors of the European Association for Chinese Philosophy (EACP). Her research primarily focuses on the intersections of metaphysics, social philosophy, and ethics, with particular attention to questions concerning action in both human and non-human agents, autonomy, uncertainty, and freedom.

María José Alcaraz León (Miércoles, 17 de diciembre). 
Profesora de Filosofía en la Universidad de Murcia. En 2006 obtuvo el doctorando en la misma universidad, realizando estancias postdoctorales en la Universidad de Columbia, en la Universidad de Sheffield y en la Universidad autónoma de Barcelona. Actualmente es vice-presidenta de la Sociedad Española de Filosofía Analítica (SEFA), miembro de la ejecutiva de la European Society for Aesthetics (ESA) y miembro del equipo editorial de la Standford Encyclopedia of Philosophy. Sus principales líneas de investigación son la justificación y racionalidad estética, la relación entre la estética y otros valores, el valor cognitico de la ficción y la estética ambiental.

Her main areas of research include aesthetic justification and rationality, the relationship between aesthetics and other values, the cognitive value of fiction, and environmental aesthetics.
