Professor of Philosophy at the University of Murcia, she received her Ph.D. from the same university in 2006 and continued her research career as a postdoctoral researcher at Columbia University, the University of Sheffield, and the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She is currently Vice President of the Spanish Society for Analytic Philosophy, a member of the Executive Committee of the European Society for Aesthetics (ESA), and part of the editorial team of the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy. Her main areas of research include aesthetic justification and rationality, the relationship between aesthetics and other values, the cognitive value of fiction, and environmental aesthetics.
