Málaga is well connected by air, rail, and road, making it a convenient destination for national and international participants. The following section provides practical advice on how to reach the city and navigate local transport to the conference venue.
Málaga–Costa del Sol Airport is the main point of entry for international travellers. Located approximately 10 km from the city centre, it offers various options for onward transport:

The main station is María Zambrano, located in the city centre and connected to the metro and local buses.
High-speed AVE trains link Málaga to major cities such as Madrid, Córdoba, and Seville
Local and regional trains connect the city to other Andalusian destinations
The station is co-located with the central bus terminal
Please note that due to the tragic accidents that took place in January, there may be disruptions to train services to Malaga.
From María Zambrano, participants can reach the conference venue via Metro Line 1 (stop: Universidad).
The Málaga Central Bus Station is located next to the María Zambrano train station. It offers routes to all major Spanish cities and several international destinations.
Local buses (Lines 8 and 11) run from the city centre to the University campus

Travelling by car is generally convenient, although traffic can be dense during rush hours (7:00–10:00 and 20:00 onward).
